This policy explains what personal information we receive, why, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it and how you can contact us about it.

1. Who we are

This website, pixloomwebstudio.com, is run by Pixloom Web Studio (“Pixloom”, “we”, “us”), an individual freelance website design and development business based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For any question or request about your personal information, email pixloomwebstudio@gmail.com.

2. In short

  • This website has no contact form, accounts, checkout, advertising, analytics or tracking tools.
  • The website does not set its own cookies or store anything in your browser.
  • We receive personal information only when you choose to email, call or WhatsApp us.
  • We use it to reply to you and to discuss or carry out your project. We do not sell it.

3. What we receive and how

Email

The “Let's Build Something” button and our email links open your own email app. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and any attachments. Please do not send sensitive information such as identity documents, financial details or health information.

Phone and WhatsApp

Our number +91 8220103602 is used for calls and WhatsApp. If you contact us this way, we receive your phone number, the WhatsApp profile name and picture you have chosen to share, and whatever you tell us or send in the conversation.

Visiting the website

The website itself does not collect personal information. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

Interactive demos

Choices you make in the Experience Lab and Design Playground stay in your browser's memory and reset when you reload the page. They are never sent to us. The “Copy email address” button copies our address to your device's clipboard and sends nothing to us.

4. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
  • To discuss your project and prepare a free quotation if you ask for one.
  • To carry out and administer a project if we work together, including invoices and project records.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not send marketing messages. If we ever want to, we will ask for your separate permission first, and saying no will not affect your enquiry.

5. Services that handle it

We do not sell or rent personal information. It is handled by these services as part of how we work:

  • Google (Gmail) for emails sent to pixloomwebstudio@gmail.com.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) for WhatsApp messages and calls, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Telecom providers for phone calls and SMS.
  • Cloudflare for hosting and delivering this website.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Processing outside India

Google, WhatsApp and Cloudflare operate internationally, so your information may be processed on servers outside India. Where Indian law restricts such transfers, we will follow those restrictions.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: no longer than 12 months, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer.
  • Project correspondence and records: only as long as reasonably necessary to administer the project and to meet legal requirements, such as tax and accounting rules.

We delete this information ourselves. There is no automatic deletion. Copies held within Gmail, WhatsApp or your own accounts are also subject to those services' settings.

8. How we protect it

  • The website does not collect or store visitor information.
  • Our Gmail account is protected by 2-Step Verification.
  • Our WhatsApp account is protected by two-step verification.

No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take these steps to reduce the risk.

9. Your requests and complaints

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it,
  • correct, complete or update it,
  • delete it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation,
  • stop using it where we rely on your consent.

Email requests or complaints to pixloomwebstudio@gmail.com. We acknowledge requests within 7 days and aim to give a full response within 30 days, unless the law requires a different timeframe. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 are coming into force in phases. As the relevant provisions apply, they give you further rights, such as nominating someone to act for you and complaining to the Data Protection Board of India. We will update this policy as those obligations take effect.

10. Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

11. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, for example if we add a contact form or analytics, we will update this policy before the change and show the new date at the top of this page.
